Why God Made Women: "Journalist Point of View"

"Everything in moderation," Not to much and not to little, yet somewhere in the middle, is the balance between Woman and the reality of her World....  I have always relied on this adage as a guideline in all that I set 

out to do....  Art, music, soft spoken words, laughter, a mother's loving demeanor, musical 

paradigms, biblical parables,  and perhaps even the anger of a woman is what's needed to 

describe my journalistic point of view of the world; the planet we call MOTHER Earth! 

The unique balance of spiritual and inspirational thoughts that I have shared with you 

have now become my essay; my arguments, reflections, and observations 

of daily life. To pay reverence means to be in control of who you are;

Woman was not designed for the cruelty brought on by a society 

that could only tarnish what is so rare and beautiful.

To shun this lovely rare creature who is full of life

and intelligence (never tell her she's not!)

is abandoning oneself for it is SHE who 

gave YOU life!  To carry a child 

in her womb for nine months

or, in my case, 42 weeks in

stead of 38..... then bring her

son or daughter into the 

world and nurse this 

child from her bosom so that the child could develop her immunity.......

only GOD's LOVE could be so 

GRACIOUS,

so relentless to create a woman for 

such a purpose.

She   is   strong,   yet sensitive

     Happy, Helpful, and Honest

           Adores  her  children  &  pets;

                     Realizes that her needs are last

                                Only  cares about  what makes 

                                                         others happy 

                                               Needs love and nourishment in 

                                                              order to grow!

Only a WOMAN could empower her curves to BARE a CHILD; only a woman could have the desire and the stamina to be a caretaker, homemaker; hold down a career while pursuing her vocation and furthering her education.  NO drugs, NO consumption of alcohol, NO self inflicted pain; just INNER LOVE that is mistaken for weakness....

"Are All Blogger's Journalists?"

      I thought I should point out how important it is to research this topic before you attempt to write your next blog. The article, originated by John C. Dvorak of PC MAG.com, involved the argument that bloggers do not have the same rights to protection as do journalists who are employed by reputable organizations such as The New York Times.  On the other hand, there are those who oppose this argument stating that the Constitution gives writers of today (yes, this means us, bloggers), the right to freedom of speech and, unless what you are writing is unethical, considered disorderly conduct or defamation of character and could lead you into court, you could very well call yourself a journalist.
       Regarding this matter, I was drawn to one article in particular -- Jeremy Porter of PRWeek and PRNewswire had some very enlightening comments that I completely agreed with.  You see, like Porter, the first thing I'd consider is who is the source and where is it coming from?  The first thing I thought about the night I decided to start writing my blog was the source I planned to use.
       First, I was thinking about using Literary writers such as Emily Dickinson, Samuel Clemens and such.  But I know there are many who will still argue with such writers regardless of their fame and stature throughout history.  So, I then thought how unbelievable would it be to identify my source as the Holy Bible.  I love theology and I love Jesus Christ, and so I posed the question to him, (which is what I do from time to time), "what source should I use to support my writings?" and, Wallah, along came the response (The Bible, but of course!) which jumped into my head.   In my studies, my professors have always stressed the importance of using reputable sources, and now it is ingrained in my beliefs and as part of my teachings.  
      Anyway, Jeremy Porter revealed his talent as a journalist and a comedian (no pun intended) for as  I read his review to a student, we began laughing so hard that we (literally) broke down in tears!  I love his raw, yet agreeable, commentary on whether bloggers could or should be considered journalists.......  He also argues that if you are simply taking information from other bloggers (like the 91% who do), this does not make you a journalist....  On the other hand, if you are finding valuable resources, as do newspaper journalists that are considered credible, then you're okay to classify yourself a journalist writer!  Check out his article @ blogjournalistics.com ! Here is the quote by Jeremy Porter my student and I found pretty comical to say the least.....Does this signal a lack of sophistication and comfort with social media among traditional journalists, or do they know something bloggers don’t, like the best sources aren’t found in a sea of tweets? It’s probably a mixture of both.  If you read this out loud (like I did) perhaps you will see the raw humor as did Jason and I  ; o )
